T2G Texture Usage License

Please read the FAQ for less formal examples of what you are allowed to do with the textures.

This document is a legal agreement between the user ("You") and T2G. Use of the data on this website is conditional upon the your agreement to the terms and conditions set out below, for free or purchased data. If you do not agree to these terms then you must not download, access or otherwise use any products from T2G.

T2G may revise and update this Agreement at anytime and without notice. Your continued use of the website after any such changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of these changes.

 

License

T2G offers image data ("Textures") on this website for game developers, special effects artists, graphic designers and other graphics professions. No payment or royalties are required to use these textures on an ongoing basis. The use of Textures is non-exclusive, royalty free, and you have the right to modify them for the uses given under the clause Conditions of Use. Most Textures on the T2G website are produced by T2G. A subset is produced by third party contributors ("Contributors"). T2G has separate agreements with these Contributors in which they grant T2G permission to add their Textures to the website. All terms and conditions in this license apply to both groups of Textures. All Textures and materials remain in ownership of T2G or the Contributor, the Textures and materials are licensed to you, not sold.

 

Intellectual Property

All materials including the organization and presentation of these materials on the T2G website are the property of T2G or it's Contributors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Some textures might contain graphic materials like wallpaper patterns, logos, names or signs. The use of these kind of images is at your own discretion and risk. The rights to the image lie with T2G and the photo has been taken in a public space, but using the pattern/logo/name in your work might not be allowed.

Conditions of Use of Free Textures

- Use of the free textures is only allowed under one or more of the following conditions:
- Private non commercial use
- Use in 2D or 3D computer graphics, movies and printed media produced not for profit
- Incorporation in computer games produced not for profit.

 

Conditions of Use of Purchased Textures

- If you find you want to use the textures commercially, in any form, you must contact us, purchase the textures, and obtain a suitable license. License type, and price, will depend on if you want to redistribute the textures themselves.
- If a previously non-commercial game or project subsequently becomes commercial, then any textures from this site must be purchased and a license obtained.

 

With either Free or Purchased Textures you are NOT permitted to . . .

- Sell or distribute these textures in an unmodified, or modified form, or where the derived product you are selling or distributing contains a Texture or a collection of Textures. In other words: Do not sell or distribute any of these textures (modified or not) by itself or in a texture pack. If others want to use the textures, please direct them to this site so they can read the license terms.
- Interfere with the security or otherwise abuse, disrupt, place excessive loads on, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the T2G website or any system resources or networks connected to this website - this includes any form of data mining.
- Mass download all Textures and other materials on this website, with the goal to make a local copy of the website. Users who try to mass download will be banned from the website automatically.
- Sell or distribute in any form 3D models bundled with unmodified or modified versions of the textures.

Memberships

The amount of Textures you can download from this website is restricted to 5 MB every 24 hours. By purchasing a Membership you are granted a higher download quota. At this moment Memberships are available on request, please email T2G@ES3DStudios.com for more information.

Privacy

T2G respects the privacy of the personal information of the individuals whom contribute and download textures. We do not disclose personal information of our members or those individuals who visit our website. No newsletters or offers will be sent to you without your prior consent. Any information submitted by the buyer will be used solely for the purpose of completing the transaction, delivering the product and addressing any customer service issues.

 

Limitation of Liability

You assume all responsibility and risk for the use of the T2G website, the Textures, materials and information.
T2G does not represent or warrant that the site or any content available for downloading through the site will be free of viruses or similar contaminations of destructive features.

In no event shall T2G or any of its affiliates, employees or contributors be liable for any incidental, indirect, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages whatsoever, including damages for loss of profits, interruption, loss of business information, loss of data, or any other pecuniary loss in connection with any claim, loss, action, suit, damage or other proceeding arising under or out of these terms of use, including without limitation your use of, reliance upon, access to or exploitation of the T2G website, the materials or any part thereof, or any rights granted to you here-under, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damaged, whether the action is based on contract, tort (including negligence), infringement of intellectual property rights or otherwise.

In any event the total maximum aggregate liability under these Terms of Use or the use or exploitation of any or all parts of this website or materials in any manner whatsoever shall be limited to five (5) Euro.
Some jurisdictions do not allow for the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

 

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold T2G harmless against all claims or liability asserted against T2G arising out of or in connection with any breach by you or anyone acting on your behalf of any of these Terms of Use.

 

General

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The UK, without regards to conflict of laws provisions thereto. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK of GB and NI.
